PowerStation was named for it’s strong industrial and moderne qualities. While designing the “Block” version Doret decided to round out the series by doing a “lighter” version—“Wedge”—and then both solid and outline versions. Once done, he reconfigured all of the above into “Wide” versions. Multi-colored typesetting is possible with PowerStation by setting the “High” version of the font on a layer above the “Low” version, and then assigning it a contrasting color.
