Orion was initially inspired by an enameled sign I picked up at a Paris
flea market. The sign contained just seven characters, but it was enough
to suggest to me that here were letterforms that I had never seen in a
modern digital font. Always looking to do something a little different,
I took up the challenge to flesh out the forms into a typeface, and Orion
was the result. Orion can be defined as a geometric, connecting script
that is at once contemporary, yet classic and timeless. It has been described
as a font where every word that's set approaches becoming it's own logo.

Sorry, there's no poster available yet to celebrate Orion, but I'm working on it! In the meantime, you can check out Orion's full character set by clicking on the thumbnail above. |
