Orion
was initially inspired by an enameled sign I picked
up at a Paris flea market. The sign contained just
seven characters, but it was enough to suggest to me
that here were letterforms that I had never seen in
a modern digital font. Always looking to do
something a little different, I took up the
challenge to flesh out the forms into a typeface,
and Orion was the result. Orion can be defined as a
geometric, connecting script that is at once
contemporary, yet classic and timeless. It has been
described as a font where every word that's set
approaches becoming it's own logo.
